Two women were arrested after trying to use the men’s bar

Several people called 911 at O’Toole’s bar where a fight broke out and a woman with a broken window was told she couldn’t use the men’s room and forced to do so.

When police spoke to the man, he said they could check the bag.

Inside, police said they found a plastic bag containing dried hallucinogenic mushrooms.

A 22-year-old man from Leonard, Addison, told police he received the mushrooms as a gift at a Michigan State University party.

Police said the mushrooms should be tested before filing charges.

Bandits stole large cassette cases

A man in the 1400 block of Butternut reported Tuesday that a cassette tape case was stolen from his porch.

The man told police that the special cardboard cassette case cost $531, plus shipping was $105.

The delivery was made in It’s March 20th, but the owner filed the report later because he needed a police report for insurance coverage.
